Nine Moons over T&S

Times and Seasons bids farewell with thanks to our most recent guestblogger, and is pleased to announce that next up is Rusty Clifton, proprietor of the fine blog, Nine Moons. Rusty and I go way back. Well, actually, we don’t. But Rusty’s family and my family go way back. One of my younger brothers is one of Rusty’s oldest friends, I’m fairly certain that another one of my brothers once dated one of Rusty’s sisters, and I was his father’s home teaching stooge companion for what must have been a year or more. (I’d like to say I gained numerous profound gospel insights from tagging along with Brother Clifton, who I have nothing but respect for, but I have to admit that all I remember from those visits is strategies for getting high scores on Joust. Man, was he good at Joust. And Time Pilot! He kicked butt on Time Pilot.)

Welcome, Rusty! As it’s been just about exactly a year since you decided T&S sucks, we hope you’ll use your current guest-stint to give us an updated assessment.

  1. Wait a minute, when did we vote on this one? Rusty? Rusty Clifton? Guys, we can’t let just _anyone_ on to the blog. Languatron and Ed Decker and Lou Midgley, sure. Landrith, perhaps. I suppose I can even countenance Frank McIntyre (though it’s with a very large grain of salt!).

But Rusty? Guys, we have to have _some_ standards.

    I dissent!

  2. As you will see, Rusty is worth the read and is a great choice as a guest….he’s neglected Nine Moons long enough now that he needs someplace “good” to post.
